Yes and given the new GM "Sanctum Santorium" by combining Global B with the ZR1 ECU plus the DCT, I would expect that you and perhaps Katech will be among the very few "blessed" by GM.
The only way to increase power is to reduce exhaust back pressure and pumping losses of the intake and exhaust. High quality 200 cell sports race catalytic converters should liberate another 20hp with no check engine lights and more gutsy sports car sound. A lightweight highflow x pipe with valves should add more power and save a lot of weight off the rear of the c8. After that an Ecu tune is a possibility.
That is what I am thinking do the "BASIC" stuff before you break into the turning and the Twin Turbos...
The only way you get less restriction is with less filtration. Can't beat OEM filters. Also, applying oil to the K&N filter, voids the warranty.
That is simply untrue. If putting a K&N filter on your car voided the warranty, GM would be in violation of the Magnuson-Moss Federal Law. They can only do that if they insist on you using their filter and make it free of charge at regular intervals. In 21 years of business, we have NEVER had a claim or incident of the type you refer to.
In addition, Commission staff has recently issued a number of guidance documents to better educate consumers and businesses concerning their rights and obligations under the MMWA. For example, in order to cure perceived misconceptions in the marketplace, staff issued and recently updated a consumer alert stating that the MMWA prohibits warrantors from voiding an automotive warranty merely because a consumer uses an aftermarket or recycled part or third-party services to repair one’s 1 76 FR 52596 (Aug. 23, 2011).

To start, something like kooks long tubes, an intake, and maybe a 150 wet shot. Then sit quietly and wait for HP tuners to crack it loose for forced induction.
I talked to Josh at the NCM last weekend, and he said it's a 12 volt system that has 22 or 24 modules. Each of these modules is encrypted with code hopping, similar to your garage door opener. He said it's not going to be accessible with existing software. He did say that GM hasn't finalized anything, but is reviewing possible ways to work with the aftermarket in allowing tuning that wouldn't void the entire warranty if aftermarket programming is done. Hope this happens, but he didn't have any more information.

Translation: "Buy the C8.. we will allow you to tune it eventually... just buy it... don't worry you can mod it one day... we promise... we pinky swear"
I'm fine with voiding the warranty as long as it's tuneable. If I'm slapping turbo's on there, I wouldn't expect them to honor any powertrain or drivetrain. Maybe if the interior falls apart in a year, I may complain.

If everyone were as honest as you, GM wouldn't need to work so hard at making the modules uncrackable. They could slap a big "Tune at your own risk!" sticker on the modules and be done with it. But unscrupulous folks (and there are a ton of them right here on CF) will try to reverse the tune if something breaks and then attempt a warranty claim.
