that’s what I was thinking after watching one of the utubers put c7 zo6 spec wheels on his c8 and the TPMS lite came on . The wheels bolted on that was a surprise ( I need a closer look , I will be testing this weekend myself I hope ) I would think he had Sensors in the aftermarket wheels but listening to him speak who knows ?

The bolt patterns are ever-so-slightly different between C7 and C8, I would strongly advocate not trying 5x4.75" wheels on a 5x120mm car.

If you have to do it, at least get some "wobble" lug nuts designed to accommodate this type of change.

Dude is an idiot if he torqued up 5x120.65 wheels on a 5x120 hub.

I wouldn’t run them on the road course, but made hundreds of 130+ mph 1/4 mile passes with my old C5 (5x4.75”) and GTO spares (5x120mm) as front runners...never had a lug nut loosen up and drove on them to track which is 120 mile round trip fwiw.

Sensors installed in the new wheels and tires mounted. Apparently the nuts that go with the C8's sensors are a different part number Wildhammer didn't have yet, I had them send me the Camaro nuts, which worked fine.

Thanks again Zymurgy for the link. Now if the car would just get here!

I bought a set of new TPMS sensors/nuts for my aftermarket wheels that I'm putting on this week. Does anyone know how to get the car to relearn the TPMS?

On my car it all just worked, no lights and no process necessary.

As in you bought a second set of TPMS, put the wheels on and it worked without any programming?

you don’t need to do anything, self learning. I have two sets of wheels and do nothing from one set to other . Drive car about a mile and your done ✅
