Under what conditions? What is the road surface? Is it clean? What temperature. Z-51 or base? What Octane fuel? Is the road level? How much weight is in the car (passengers and cargo)? How many miles on the car?

Hard to tell if it is good or bad.
550 miles, 55 degrees outside, clean level road, two passengers total weight 400 lbs, Track or Sport modes with TC and Stabilitrack off, Hold brake down. floor it, rpms go to 3500 and go? I was really expecting more!
What Mode are you using? I have the Z51 but not the Mag Ride, I cannot get to the PTM Modes! So using Sport or Track Mode with TC and ESC off the best I can do is 3.8? A long way off what Chevy claims below ... Very disappointed!
So there has to be something wrong since you cant do this or drop the clutch.... I would take it in but what's the reason to give the service advisor.... "i cant do a burnout" that wont work.... "my car is slow" that wont work. Maybe someone with a c8 in your area that has done both can meet you and show you how to do it or try it and see what happens.
Success ...... It took about 4 try's to get it went 3.3, 3.0, 2.8 a couple of times then It hooked up without the spin sputter and shake and just launched!
I got the 2.6 but not very consistent. At least I know my car is capable of it now!
If you do not have Magnetic Ride like my car you will see Competitive Driving Mode after the double tap of the Traction Control button. This will allow for launch control. I just used it today 3.2 seconds to 60 with a passenger. Best time so far is 2.7 with driver only. You really need to mash the brake it to kick in.

when we say mash the brake , to know how much ? Is it safe to say if the car reached 3500 and stays there, then we have the right amount of brake depressed?
