Headers are not part of the emissions warranty. They only flow exhaust gas with no other function- unlike cats.

But they increase heat which can void the warranty if said heat can be shown to have caused the failure. They also increase power which GM could argue could put certain parts out of tolerance. However if as mentioned above it can be proven they are 50 state legal and warranty safe then all is good
