In this video, we show how the stock NPP (performance valved exhaust) from Chevy works to change the sound of the C8 and how it limits flow.

I’ve had my Lemans Edition track exhaust on for two weeks and they are the most exotic pipes I have ever heard on a C8. Twice as fun to drive. I’ll do a review and post in a couple of weeks.

EDIT… for the Stingray C8 (my neighbors Z06 sounds better, but $50 more)…damn you have to be specific on here!

It's always interesting to see what's inside these mufflers. The C8s muffler is pretty simple. When you get down to it, it relies on backpressure when the outboard valves are closed.

Still sounds like a cross plane v8. Only one way to change that with an exhaust

Best sounding? Flat plane crank ZO6 of course. The rest are small variations of a cross plane crank.

We tend to agree, the ZR1 will need some high-flow cats so it can really breathe, looking forward to seeing what we can do with it!

We were lucky enough to be first to market on every C8 iteration thus far, so fingers crossed we'll get a ZR1 in here soon

Absolutely, we have a Dynojet in-house that we utilize throughout the R&D process. I will post some results below, if you'd like to see more, they are attached to our product pages on our website!

So stock ZO6 numbers show less than 5% drive train loss? And stock Z51 show more than 10% drive train loss?

It has been fairly consistent across all of the Stingrays we have dyno'd when compared vs the Z's

It will certainly be interesting to add another data point once our ZR1 comes in

Have a soul exhaust on my c8 since fabspeed was more expensive. Absolutely lovr my loud *** soul. Want to see the price difference between soul and fabspeed since they use the same parts to manufacture there parts. Of course they'll both say they use better parts but thats bullshit.

The Eventuri intake for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 sets a new benchmark on this platform for the highest performing intake and the largest internal volume available*
(Intake size and shape restricted by the OEM trunk panel, we redesigned it to allow for a larger intake. In doing so we also made it from clear Polycarbonate to allow the carbon intake to be on display when the trunk is open.)

Utilizing our Patented Venturi Housing concept, airflow is able to negotiate through the filters with a much less tortuous path thus reducing the drag of the system. Furthermore by increasing the overall volume in the intake, the flow capacity has also been increased allowing higher powered builds to maximize on performance gains.

Intake air temperatures have been minimized by ensuring a sealed system, taking advantage of the OEM air feeds as well as using carbon fiber which has a low thermal conductivity coefficient across the wall thickness. The resulting system provides industry leading performance gains and a noticeable improvement in throttle response.

INCLUDED:
  • Carbon Fiber Double Venturi Filter Housing
  • Bespoke High Flow Dry Cone Filters
  • Carbon Fiber Inlet Ducts
  • Clear Polycarbonate Trunk Panel
  • Silicon Coupler Internally Stepped
  • Laser Cut Stainless Steel Brackets and Heat Shields
  • Custom Inlet Flanges
  • Custom Flexible Hoses
