Anyone know - the catalytic convertor studs on the right side of the car - what size and thread tap do i need to tap these? One of them stripped on an exhaust install

I cant find the old stud i pulled out but its this part number: 11547306

The first line on this page says its M8 x 1.25
Genuine Exhaust System/Front for 2018 Chevrolet Malibu (gmpartsprime.com)

Remember these are "locking thread" studs so it may come out looking like what typically stripped looks like but they may not be. I think the stud thread is not cut as deep as it should be and its a interference fit (not smooth thread in as usual)
I doubt you need to run a tap through the flange unless it was cross threaded and that is easy to see. Run a M8x1.25 bolt through the hole and Im betting it goes in with little effort.
