Low profile spoiler ???

Low profile spoiler ???
It is necessary to drill holes to mount a low profile spoiler? My dealership shows on the mounting instructions to drill 6 holes in the rear end ? I thought it was held on with double sided tape.

The accessory low profile spoiler is stick-on, the RPO? factory low profile spoiler is bolted on from the factory.

If you ordered your car with a factory low spoiler like I did with mine, then your rear bumper comes predrilled from the factory. The dealer installs it during PDI. If you ordered an aftermarket version, then it's usually just installed using VHB. It would also depend on the maker of the low spoiler. Some are made to be bolted in, instead of using VHB.
