Paragon has mufflers so it's definitely not going to be the loudest.

Just curious what you did you prevent CEL with the sport cats if you can link specific o2 spacers used.
Paragon plugs would refer to the valve simulators.

They actually have two, one has straight through bullet mufflers, the other has no mufflers at all. I have the touring one in a box in garage, I looked and it just hast slight baffles but it looks wide open. Built quality looks fantastic.

The paragon plugs are the valve simulators for the afm/npp valves. Basically just resistors to trick the car into thinking the valves are still there when using a valveless exhaust

I used 2Ms O2 spacers as well. They're basically mini cats, spacers with catalyst material inside.

I think he was referring to Paragons titanium cat-back, not the stainless. Stainless has the track and touring version. Titanium is basically the touring version, with the bullet mufflers, in titanium.

Yes I think with just straight mid pipes you’ll be alright with no CEL if you’re 2020-22. Atleast from my experience. For some reason every 2023 even with sport cats and spacer or sport cats and mini cats they still got the CEL for trim or flow or continuity. But I’ve seen ‘20-22 with any combo and no CEL. Maybe the 23s are more sensitive?
There’s even someone on here with 2M non catted mid pipes and just regular non catted spacers with no CEL, I think he had a 2021

They moved some modules from the center tunnel towards the back fender on 23 I heard on the forum. E Ray production caused the re location . Could be a good post question.

Paragon Track is the one without muffler. This with high flow CATS or straight pipe CAT would be your loudest setup. But if you think about it most all CAT back setups basically the same straight through X pipe design. But I love the track Paragon exhaust!

Beautiful Spec on your C8!

Thanks
Andrew

Andrew,
Thank you sir! I love them and for the non Z51 I recommend a 3 mm spacer up front. This adds around 4mm clearance from the caliper.

UPDATE to initial post.

CORSA EXTREME for NPP. Installed. VERY VERY VERY happy with it. 2500RPM an up in a "loud" mode it PERFECT for me. Switch to a "quiet" mode and POOF, cant hear much at all. Sounds great on cold startup, absolutely RIPS at WOT.

THIS IS WHAT THE NPP SHOULD HAVE BEEN FROM FACTORY, IMHO.

Very very very happy with this one....did I mention happy with it?

Plus, used GM REWARDS points to pay for install.......Got the system during a holiday sale, total cost from start to finish right at $3400.

Thanks for your update. How much did the dealership charge you for the install?

$1200 Which is a little over the top honestly.

When I first bought the car they quoted me $900 to have it done during PDI. I think since they are already in there doing some stuff, its a little easier.
I kind of didnt pay anything as I used MY GM REWARDS to pay for all of it. I had gotten a GM REWARDS CC a year before I bought the car, so I have been saving points for quite awhile. I still have enough left for my next oil change and swap out of brake fluid for track events (DOT4).

EDIT: So TOTAL COST was $4600. I still cringe when I think that NPP is an added cost to the car AND I felt the need to spend more on the exhaust. NPP is TERRIBLE for the $$ IMO. NPP should be the standard exhaust, even if that added $750-$1000 to base MSRP. ( I realize as a stand alone option it is more than that, the cost should be lower if its is used 100% of the time, I would think)

did you do any cats or headers too? Any sound clips or videos? I love corsa, had extreme on my C7. I want something loud on the c8. Like really loud but don't want any CEL or to run no cats. Thinking of ARH headers, corsa cats and extreme cat back.

No, didnt change anything else. At this point, I am completely satisfied with the exhaust from a sound and looks standpoint. The Black Diamond tips matchup very well with my Black Chrome wheels.

If I were to add anything additional to the Exhaust in the future it would be either add Headers OR swap out CATS, not both...

I just ordered the AWE Track exhaust, you will lose NPP functions, but it does give you valve simulators so you don't throw a code.
Most people say it does not drone on the highway and is not loud inside the car on the highway, but during normal cruising you can always hear it, that was what was most important to me.

I have numerous AWE Track videos on youtube, give them a listen.
Search C8 AWE Track exhaust, look for the most recent ones, they are mine. Youtube name is HowardG
