Default 2022 C8 HTC display

I've had it happen three times in 7k miles. Start up...blank screens. Shut down and startup..same issue. Drive for wherever im going...come out and display is back.

I just picked up my 23 C8. It has 52 miles on it now. My dash is doing the same thing. I shot a video and it is identical to the one that kjlive posted. Has any actually had this problem addressed yet? I was just wondering what to expect from my local dealer. Like what excuses or weird stares you've been given?LOL

With the winter/cold weather in the northeast, I haven't taken it to the dealer yet. I was hoping someone would reply to my original post that experienced the same issue and had it resolved.

I havent had an opportunity to drive my C8 with the crappy NE weather. Just curious if anyone was had the same issue and had a dealer check it out?

Had it to my local dealer and they tried a software update with no success. They ordered a new dash display 3 weeks ago, but apparently it is back ordered. Still waiting.

I have an appointment for Wednesday morning (15th) for dealer to look at my dash. I did show them the video that I shot of what the dash was doing. I also showed the video of kjlive's dash. They told me that they have not seen the issue before. I think it helped that I had video and was also able to show that my car wasn't the only one doing this. Hopefully they can fix it easily......and without taking the dash apart!!!

there is not difficult

thats how to replace, but need programming and configuration after that.

Thanks for posting that Madcat. That looks easier than a C7 cluster. I replaced a lot of clusters, but mostly on Chevy/GMC trucks. The stepper motors in the early to mid 2000's were awful. I am taking my car to the dealer in a couple of days to see what the deal is. It only messes up when it's cold, so hopefully it is just a software glitch. It's under warranty, hopefully an easy fix....

Software update did not correct issue. New instrument cluster ordered. No timeline was given for when it would come in. I will give it a couple of weeks and see what happens.

Same issue for my 2023 as well. Only happens during startup and eventually corrects itself

Interesting, as many have pointed out…. Warm day today ( about 60 degrees ) and it didn’t occur at all during startup.

Waited approximately 5 weeks for a new dash display. My local dealership replaced the display and I haven’t had an issue since.

My dash display/cluster came in already. It took about 2 weeks.... not bad. Install is scheduled for Monday April 3rd. The tech at my local dealer is the Corvette guy there. I am confident that he will do a great job and this part will solve my issue. I will update after install.
