my last C6 made 908whp on 93 octane with SAE correction. This was before adding trickflow heads, a 2.7" pulley and a custom flex fuel setup. Having come from a car with "real mods", I don't have any interest in doing that again with this car.
like I said earlier on this post, you'll hear lots of opinions on here... incliding mine! If your goal is to make a bit more power without breaking the bank on power adders, pick one of these and be happy with your choice. Personally, this car looks fantastic and drives great, as-is. If I were choosing an intake, I'd go with the Eventuri because I think it looks amazing. At a car show, it would look phenomenal. This is because this is what's important to me. If performance per dollar is more important, you might want to look in the direction if a drop-in filter.
Drop-in alone is nothing. Already know this with my own experience at the track. If you want it just to have it then okay.

Well first of all you can't even see the air box so picking it because it looks cool is amute point. Looking at the design it's hard to believe the Eventuri actually works better. Dyno tests to test for power increases is a good tool but the best test is at the track with similar conditions. And I can testify that mild porting to intake and TB along with a Halltech airbox will improve you 1/4 mile times.

The intake comes with a clear cover for you to see it.. picking a mod for any reason is exactly what they are intended for. I knew it performed well, but I really like it because it looks awesome, and you can see it with the hood open, which is a huge selling point for me. Oh, and it performs better than most:

My bad, I had the Eventuri and the AfE mixed up. The open end filter design looks good but, $2500 is really high for an air box, too rich for me, to each his own tho.

It's great that the Eventuri shows good MAF readings and about 15 rwhp across the power range, but for me not worth $2500. I'll stay with my AFE dry air filter for 5 rwhp and save $2400. Just not worth $2400 for another 10 rwhp, even if it's the entire power range. The AFE dry air intake will give you 10rwhp for about 1/3 the price. For others who want every HP available, I understand, but for me it's a no.
Thanks to Paragon for sharing the dyno video.

I would be concerned with the bracket on the Eventuri being metal, along with the clamps which can lend itself to heat. As we all know, it really gets hot in the engine bay and trunk on the C8.
Hey all,
I spoke to my speed mechanic about the low gains from these units and he said since Im installing American Racing Headers and a Borla Atak Exhaust, I would see more benefit from the entire setup by adding a CAI. Just giving the setup more air will do good. Thoughts on this?
The cars running mid to bottom 10’s have headers, cat deletes/performance cats, air intakes and ported throttle body and intake manifolds. Those combos look like they work very well. Every 5 hp adds up.

man ported heads, high flow cats, Ported manifold, ported tb, and e85 put this car in low 10s now that tuning is open. That’s the route I’m going then 100 shot nitrous.. and increase the shot once tcm tuning is fully open!

Has anybody tested this Eventuri on the track not just on the dyno? Also keep in mind that this Intake must have a 95mm throttle body probably in order to attain those dyno numbers......an extra $300. Then you have the installation cost unless you DIY. So we are talking around $3000. There are other mods that probably add up to the same amount of horsepower that cost much less. But if you just want it for show it's the best for looks.
I recently saw JLT has thrown their hat in the C8 CAI ring. Interested to see how its gonna perform by comparison. They do have a appealing price point vs other contenders.
Pretty good price on the AWE track dry intake right now. I was going to go Halltech but this price makes it tough. Stinks it’s two weeks out or more tho. Best price I’ve seen on the Awe shipped for less then $800 with tax.
go with the AFE magnum , it's under 500 right now. Only difference is its plastic instead of carbon fiber.
The Attack Blue Nano gives 5-6hp at the wheel for like $149 and 20 minute install in the garage... Do the gains of these other systems really make sense for the cost?
