I see some places have sold out of these and wanted to know if anyone here purchased one and what’s their impression?? I’m interested in one to test at the track. Any feedback would be appreciated!!

Popular intake for us, beautiful construction for sure.

None personally, just what dyno results they have and forum members.

From what the dynos claim, there should be measurable, repeatable results at the 1/4 mile dragstrip.

It would be nice to hear from someone who has one. My concern is the metal bracket system and new cover that may interfere with cargo space and fitment for roof panel for $2400. However, if these concerns arent issues for others who actually have them, I may purchase one. I would definitely test it at the track and post results. So if you have one, please chime in. Thx

I'm sure there are few out there on this forum. The market is going to be limited for a $2500 intake that impinges on available trunk space and, like all the C8 intakes, probably makes 5whp in a narrow band above 5000rpm. I don't care what the dyno graphs say from Paragon, I call automatic BS on any dyno that shows a gain at all revs for an intake.

This especially when there are cheaper and more documented / more feedback options like Halltech or AFE

Oh well, I tried to get some motivation to make this purchase. I would be open to track test one if one is available, that way we can see real-world results.

I just bought one and it was delivered today. Unfortunately I won’t be able to install it for a couple weeks but I will give you guys an update after I do. There’s a YouTube channel “Protective Dan Pranks” and he has an install and review video. He said that the top still fits into the trunk. I will say it is pricey and i don’t think from a performance stand point that I would see any difference if I stayed stock or went with AFE but I decided to pull the trigger on it simply for the looks

I don't mean to disparage anyone who buys it - in the end it's 'worth it' for the looks primarily. Performance is not easy to come by in this car.

A custom like rear panel without cutting anything and can go back to stock, but you gotta pay for that (show-car) dream

like a Rolex (vs a Seiko) or a Italian suit (vs business casual) it is what it is

Sold our first one but won't be installed for a few months. We have these readily available as well.

Do you know if it allows easy access to the DCT brass fill plug on top of the transmission once the CAI is installed, without you having to remove the CAI?

I also like it for the looks and will get one as well.

I do think the carpet needs to be cut.

I was able to install the intake today along with a Soler Performance throttle body. I also did the 2L of tranny fluid while I had it all apart. The install wasn’t bad, it was a bit of a pain since the high wing was in the way a little bit. I had to crawl in the trunk for most of it. The last 4 bolts that go on the bottom to hold the intake in were the hardest to get tightened. I didn’t do much driving to but the car does seem to be a bit more responsive but that could just be me trying to justifying the $3k for the two items.
