Cylinder Deactivation Exhaust Control Valve, Position Signal Exceeds Upper Limit.
They cant get to it for 7 weeks and said it was ok to drive it but dont track it

The "can't get to it for 7 weeks" part sure doesn't sound right. Driving it is probably OK as long as AFM valve is not stuck closed (not sure what that position error actually means).

Their main mechanic is off for several weeks. I called another dealer close by, I am in this Monday. They too, said it was safe to drive.

They were able to get the exhaust value working again, so they decided not to order a new one.

Examination found the left exhaust flow control valve cylinder deactivation was out of specifications. They performed the left exhaust flow control valve reset which did the trick.
