I have a 2020 C8 (my 12th vette) and I like the sound of running in "Z" mode and I recall on my prior vette (C7) that I could run "Z" mode while I was in "My Mode"
but not sure if I can do that in the C8. Does anyone know if I can do that on my C8 and if so how do I do that?

Z mode or My Mode. Not both per se. You can customize Z mode to align with your desired settings. Z mode will keep it out if V4.

You can press the Z mode button while you are in MyMode and the car will switch to Z mode. If you press the Z mode button again, however, it will switch to Tour mode, not back to MyMode. To get it back in MyMode from Z mode, turn the round mode selector button counter-clockwise one time.

Z mode CAN keep it out of V4 mode if you have the engine/shift mode maxed out. If you set it to 3 out of 4, it will hold shifts and whatnot, but will go to V4 mode once you stop beating on it.
