Looks great! Is certainly going to move more air than the OEM version. Do you have anything internal "directing" the air up to the engine, or did you find that redundant with a sealed design?
Wow! That is certainly good looking and probably very effective.
However, I wonder if the factory piece was somewhat open for a reason. Like reducing the amount of stones and water up into the engine bay. Now if you are only using the scoops on the track, that should not be a problem.
The factory ones were designed for street use. And the lower rear brake ducts, which are closed are intended for track use only.

I was going to ask if the engine bay air scoops are located inboard from the rear brake cooling ducts, so as to not interfere with brake cooling.
Possibly more crucial than a cooler engine bay?
I can't tell from the angles that the pics are taken. Straight on pic front to back would tell the tale.
They sort of look a bit further inboard than the brake scoops in post #1.
JWT603, no on the factory part. The factory part numbers are out there, unfortunately the search feature on the forum is not working right. I had the factory numbers and had a GM search done for me. If any could have found it, it would have been this person. Somewhere in the forum is the post from Germany (I believe) showing a damaged part and asking where to find it. That is what started this subject. And after 3 days of R&D the first prototype was built using my car as a Template. Which led to this post by the OP. I hope this helped answer your question.
@itsonlyairandfuel The FS link seems to be dead. I ran across this thread after finding some of the other related posts via a search. Are you still making these or are any available?

The part number provided, GM PART A1 85580653, corresponds to a genuine GM underbody rear air deflector. The "RH" indicates it is the Right-Hand (passenger) side part. Here is a summary of the item:
Part Name: Underbody Rear Air Deflector (also referred to as an "F Deflector").
Manufacturer: General Motors (GM Genuine Parts).
Part Number: 85580653.
Side: Right-Hand (RH), which is the passenger side of the vehicle.
Function: This part is designed to help protect the underside of the vehicle, particularly the engine area, from damage caused by road debris and to manage airflow beneath the vehicle.
Replaced Part Number: It replaces the older part number 85157543.
Availability: The part is available for purchase from various authorized GM parts retailers online, such as GM Parts Center or GM Parts Direct
I got mine through World Parts Direct for around $250 for the pair. Don't ask why one was $2 more expensive than the other.
