Got my car back yesterday. Tuned via hp tuners and flex by DSX only other mod was catless pipes.
happy with the results and sound now time to get to the track.
How does the extra power feel ? Don’t forget to update this thread with your time slips
it feels much better, more responsive i feel. I will definitely do that. I ran the car 1 time and went 11.5 @ 123 I think. Bone stock. So thats the base line.

I have a Soler throttle body, ported intake manifold, Corsa high flow cats, Corsa headers, Corsa cat-back, and an aFe CAI on my car. Would a tune to E85 really add that much?
"Because they can" is likely the best explanation here. They being HPTuners. Your ECU needs to be physically mailed in to them to be unlocked. Time and money that went into the effort, lack of competition, etc. You then need to also buy the OBDII interface + credits on top of it.
I need to find an excuse to go to Des Moines, IA for a week and leave my C8 with Paragon for their full FlexFuel tuning: https://www.paragonperf.com/C8-Corve...ing_p_929.html
I much prefer this vs. manually switching back and forth between 93 & E85 maps.

Cicio told me they could set the tune to run on either. I would have to think that they don't tune either optimally to keep both fuels happy.

Full FlexFuel tuning uses an inline ethanol content sensor to balance the maps. You have two separate tunes, one on pump gas and and with straight E85, then the sensor's output determines how the two maps are blended together to account for the actual ethanol content. This is also helpful as pump E85 can vary in percentage between stations, seasons, etc.
