Default 19” wheels

At todays turn around.

I finally put my 19” Forgeline’s on today. Could be a better shade of red perhaps. Maybe I will redo them after visiting a gravel trap or two. Silver/nickel AP racing calipers in the mail. Should look better (and work better). It looks like 8” off the ground in person, though it’s not bad in pictures. Springs coming to lower it an inch. Then some seats I think. The comp ones aren’t terrible, but you can’t really get big g’s on the street. Speaking of which, the Cup 2 Connects are pretty nice. Cornering fast and then just wrenching the wheel to push the front just resulted in the car turning faster. Yawn…I bore the car I think. The wear looks like they are even over inflated. I couldn’t get the TPMS’s to relearn. A fun day driving the local river canyons.

Hope everyone had a good Sunday.

Can you share offset and pics at different angles?

It’s out for PPF, so might be a bit. I will get some “stance” shots and post.

I think they are 38 front and 18 rear.

Maybe you could go 5mm more. Super close though.

Dang never seen 19s on a C8 Z06, doesnt look bad but seems a teeny bit small. Any reason you went with 19s over 20s?

They are exactly the same as stock but yes it needs to be lowered asap.

19’s are lighter and good tire options. You can use these with stock CCBs.

18’s are even lighter and tires are cheaper. You can use the smaller AP racing discs with this. I can’t recall if J56’s will do 18s.

Not small at all...just the standard diameter on a car that is not lowered.

I love the look of the 19" wheels on the Z06. I don't like the super low profile tire look anyway. And the choices for track tires is at least reasonable with 19" wheels....it's even better with 18" wheels if you can get them around the brake setup.

Honestly personally prefer to have more tire just dont get too many guys asking for it on the C8s haha. It does look good just needs to be lowered to close up that gap up a bit and itll be perfect. But it's all personal preference ya know looking forward to seeing this once OP lowers it!

Default Lower. Bigger splitter.

I assume the springs will settle a bit. They are barely shorter than stock out of the box.

A little color added when I did the ppf.

Bend a couple sets of wheels and they look a lot better. You also can’t get 20/21’s this light without going cf or mg. Too spendy too race on.

Where is the dislike button when you need it? The wheel size is just fine…
