C8 Track Tires and Alignment
I have searched the forum for some information on this topic and surprisingly haven't found anything. I have three questions:
- I am looking for a track tire for my C8. I had good experiences with the Michelin Sport Cup 2's on my C7 Z51. However the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3's are now available in the C8 size and are ~$700 a set cheaper. The reviews on Tire Rack are more or less comparable. The question: "Does anyone have experience with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3's on a C8 and what tire pressures did you start at and target during your track sessions?"
- My second question is on the track alignment. I ran a track alignment on my C7 and it worked great, however I typically trailered that car and seldom drove it on the street. Does anyone have experience with the running the track alignment on a C8 on the street? Has anyone run a hybrid alignment, somewhere in the middle of the street and track alignment?
- Last, is anyone using camber plate/bolts on their C8? With them can I toggle between the track and street alignment myself?

track alignment on the street is fine. Keep toe near zero to alleviate wear.
