Default Soler Throttle Controller install question - Stingray

Most of the installs I have seen the wires and controller sit between the carpet and the gas pedal. can it be hidden under the carpet? If so, any pics and or tips on getting it back there?

Sorry, I'm not home to get you a pic, but it's very simple and straight forward. I did the install on Sunday. Once you remove the pedal from the floor (one 10mm bolt and pull the pedal backward) and disconnect the connector, you'll clearly see the 3" slit in the carpet behind the pedal where the connector wiring runs. After I connected the Soler harness, I just pushed it all behind the carpet via that slit, and ran the small cable for the display up and around the side of the tunnel, hiding the wire between the dash panels as I ran it up below the audio/nav display. Super easy, done in 10 minutes.

There are multiple videos on YouTube on the subject. Download the Soler app to your phone, and you don't even need the display if you don't want it.

Good luck, just go for it!

Yes, I pushed everything through the slot in the carpet. Nothing visible at all.

All the above point you in the right direction. You’ll love the throttle controller.

I purchased the "Pedal Commander" It is a similar device as the Solar ---- However it has far more adjustability I believe the Commander has 32 different settings
In my case I went str8 to #32 !! The car was un drivable in 1st gear !!! Just way to violent and jerky especially when the engine is cold--- I settled on about 24 and it is Awesome throttle response
According to Pedal Commander the STOCK throttle ratio on a C8 is very lame so the throttle response sucks
They told me the stock Throttle ratio is 1-3 !! Backwards
With the Commander or Solar you can go from 1-3 all the way up to like 3.5-1 !!!
WOW although it adds NO HP the response is amazingly quick

?What does that have to do with the ability to hide the wires behind the carpet?
