I posted in the autocross/road course section received a recommendation of Conti Extreme Contact Force. If anybody as experience with 200TW tires on the C8, I'm all ears.
C8, Z51, mag ride, front lift. Running stock rims (I'm really trying not to buy rims to give me more sizing and brand options). I run HPDE at Lime Rock, Thompson, Palmer. Those tracks aren't especially long with only one straight that requires significant braking (if that makes any difference). I am currently running the stock Michelins with the track alignment per GM specs except the toe is set to 0 degrees in the front. I street drive this car as well. I trailer the car so street manners aren't especially important to me as I have another set of stock rims and all season Michelins for daily driving.
Looking at Nangang CRS V2, Vitour PI and Goodyear Supercar 3s. I'm concerned about availability in the event I have a tire go down and need a replacement. Something in the 200TW category. Any and all recommendations are most welcome.

If you are going run one tire for the street and occasional track the SC3 is solid as is the Sport Cup 2. True 200 TW tires are going to be better on the track but are pretty bad if you get caught in any kind of weather on the street. There will be tons of different opinions on this.

What are your goals? Are you doing HPDEs? Time Trials? Trying to win anything? Just having fun turning laps?
I was running 100 TW Nankang AR1's. I am almost 2 seconds faster on a 1:45 course with 200 TW Contis. I did go wider by 30mm in front and 20mm in back at the same time I switched. Lots of 100s and some of the 'super" 200s are one lap specials that give you a really fast lap but don't stay consistent over a session. If you need to consider rain, especially driving to the track, consider one with a decent tread pattern and less like a slick. I am confident on the Contis on a three hour drive to the track. I hear the Vitours are really fast, but I don't know anything else about them, but others will. The Contis and the Nankangs seem to be comparable to each other. I was going to go with the Nankang CRS when I switched wheels, but that was last year when you couldn't get them. Anyway, just my experience, which doesn't include some of the options, so consider what others are saying as well.
Easy, from those choices Vitour P1. Great wearing and long lasting. In the stock 19/20 configuration they have stock sizes available. Warehouse is in Indianapolis, IN.
I was running AR-1 last year, I am looking to try either Conti extreme contact force or Nankang CRS-V2 this year unless I bite the bullet and go Hoosier R7. I liked the AR-1 and didnt lose much performance all the way to the cords. I hear good things of the CRS-V2 (John runs them on his M4 competition that we track with). I was hoping to try the Hoosier Time Attack but starting to see poor reviews that they cycle out extremely fast.

Thanks Mike. Good to hear that John is running the V2's. The Conti's are 235 or 265 for the fronts. I don't really want to go with a smaller tread width and am not sure if the 265's will fit appropriately on my stock rims. Availability of the V2's in my size are hit and miss especially in the rears. Currently unavailable at Phil's. The Vitour P1's are in stock currently. Will depend on whether a certain 18in rim fits on my car.... then the options open up.
I have been running the Nankang CRS V1 due to shipping issues of the V2 and have great results. Just make sure you start out with your air pressure down and monitor until they heat up. I also switch over to APEX wheels for the track and autocross running 18 x 9.5 in the front and 19 x 11 rear to open up more tire possibilities. The 275 on the front sure improved the under-steer.

You mean wider front tires improved (reduced) the understeer instead?
