PTM Question
I could not find an answer in the owners manual or readily on-line. When engaging any of the PTM modes (Wet, Dry, Sport, Race1, Race2) do the mag ride shocks automatically default to "Track" or can the suspension be set to Sport in Z mode and kept in Sport when accessing and using PTM through Z mode?
Since PTM is a Track mode I believe (but am not sure) that the MSRC shocks are always set to Track mode when in Track mode.
The manual says that PTM is available in Z-Driver Mode, where suspension can be changed. However, I have never invoked the PTM modes. I suppose its possible that PTM can only be invoked if the suspension is set to Track - but the manual does not say that. Others who have tried it will need to say.
I know that PTM can only be invoked in Z-mode if the engine performance is set to Track, but I don't know if the suspension must be set to Track or not. It's easy to find out by just playing with the settings (including PTM) for Z-Mode. If Z-mode will let you enable a PTM mode when the suspension is in Tour or Sport mode, then there is your answer. The suspension will operate according to the setting in Z-mode.

Suspension must be in Track to select a PTM mode. It’s been this way since the C7, the only exception to this was the C6 ZR1, which could engage PTM in any suspension mode. I’ve always thought this was a complete shame as PTM was often more useful in my C6 ZR1 on the street since I could run it in the softer Tour mode suspension setting.
