I did it on my 2021 LT1 camaro, hardest part was pinning the one wire . I also would love to hear if someone has done it on a C8 and what is the best source for the kit.
It uses the same sensor from 2007. just need the PIN. I know it's going to require a tune, I just would rather have it installed so I can save some money on the dyno .

Every flex fuel kit for various GM V8s are different and are only available for the C8 thru specific repair shops.
The installation process may vary, but the actual sensor used has been essentially the same since 2007. Since you don't have the specific information I'm requesting... thanks for your input, but I'm specifically looking for the pin location. The rest of the sensor is a hot wire triggered by ignition and a ground; I'm just trying to find out which pin is used or will be used.

When you buy the correct kit, the instructions provided detail the wire pin process.
The problem is dealers won't just sell the kit without a tune. I can do a tune myself for flex. From what I found out, it's pin 38 or 40, so I'll go with that one is a 5V reference, and the other will be a 12V reference. The 5V is going to be the one.

Great info , thanks. Where are going to get the flex fuel sensor kit? and what about the single length of wire that has to go all the way to the ECM harness connection especially on the later C8 where the ECM is behind the rear bumper cover? always thinking .
Going to get a Continental FF sensor from Rock Auto for a 2020 Chevy truck. As far as the hookups. going to get an adaptor coil harness for plug in power and some appropriate gauge wire and run it to the PCM, prob zip tied to the harness. As far as rear bumper computers, just more wiring to run. I'm probably going to hook the sensor underneath the car rather than on top of the engine for a clean install. just need 2 female-to-female high-pressure hose adaptors.
