Navigation problem
Ended up replacing the radio. Thank goodness it was still under warranty. Would have been over $1600.00.....
Good luck getting it fixed.

Purchased the 2025 update for my 2021 and put into the nav sd card slot. I get error card removed. Put original card back in and it was OK. Tried again and it said card removed. Put the original card back in and not it will not read the original card. Was there a specific procedure?
The dealer tech tried reloading the infotainment software, no help. BUT he found a note on the GM Service Computer placed by another Tech. It said IF using a SanDisk flash Drive could be the issue. I asked why and Tech said we often put in notes on the GM servcie computer and don't know why something worked but if it does we post!
After having an issue with my PDR SD Card I found why! Turns out I bought my SD Card and USB Flash Drive from Amazon. Some reports show over half of many products on Amazon, espeically electronics are bootleg!

l solved my 6 month old issue with another brand Flash Drive! IMO it's NOT that the Market Leader SanDisk is the issue is that bootleggers are smart they copy the high volume market leader!
SIDEBAR
My business history with copiers! They are smart and copy the Market Leader. My old company had bought the 1941 Heliarc (TIG Welding) patent and trade name from the inventor company Northrup Aircraft. There desire was using it to weld aluminum in WWII! Our company's incentive was we were the market leader in producing and selling Argon gas we also sold the more expensive Helium. Both are were used as shielding. Argon, like today, is very profitable compared to the Oxygen and Nitrogen we distilled after liquefying air.
The company had a number of engineers design many types, sizes and current carrying capacity torches both air and lighter water cooled. We had invented products like the gas lens that gave better shielding. When the patents we over copiers made and sold the high profit wear pats link collets, collet bodies etc. They did NOT use the Heliarc name as our lawyers put a quick stop to that even when they used similar spelling! But now copies of those old torches and wear parts come from China at very low prices. For fun just looked on Amazon and put in TIG Collets.
One popped up saying: "TIG Collet 13N23 (3/32"&2.4mm) for TIG Welding Torch 9, 20 & 25 Series Consumables Collets 10Pcs for $8!" Heck when I was still working (25 years ago before retiring, well semi I still have a part time internet business) we sold one collet for that price. In that case they use our old 1950's part number 13N23. Although they don't say Heliarc anywhere those are our Torch Numbers, 9, 20, 25! Heliarc 9 etc.
But just like bootlegged Flash Drives they may not be good. I recall some years ago Newport News Ship, a large customer, sent in collets there were not holding their Tungsten electrodes when the torch got hot! Turned out they did NOT come in our sealed plastic Heliac labeled bags they bought from a Distributor in bulk! A check of the chemistry showed the were not the more expensive, harder to machine Beryllium or Chrome copper we used which holds strength when hot, they were just plain copper. The collet was expanding when it got hot when welding and the tungsten electrode could slip out!
