I have an Aluma open car hauler trailer that is the low profile model. 8216 LP Tilt
Given the about 60-40 rearward weight bias, should the C8 be placed on the trailer backwards to avoid too much rearward weight bias on the trailer?
Anyone with experience?

16’ Trailer is kinda crappy for these cars.
ideally you want the door edge centered between the axles but I’ve loaded it pretty far back on the trailer as well and never had it tow weird. I have a 20’ aluminum trailer.
I have towed with a 8218 tilt and had to back the car on the trailer to get the appropriate tongue weight. I have one of those hitches that show tongue weight and target about 12%. I wasn’t able to achieve that pulling forward. I would assume it would be tougher to achieve that tongue weight on an even shorter trailer.
Same here. Aluma tilt, back on to get the weight distrubution correct. As a side note, I have a soler controller and put it in valet mode to keep the throttle response as slow as possible. I find that it really helps when backing on the trailer. I tilt the mirrors down to see how the tires align with the deck. Use the front lift and a couple of 2x6s to keep the nose off the ground (18 in rims for tracking).
Thanks everyone. I got the 16' last year because the normal track car is an NC Miata. And I *think* there shouldn't be an issue with the nose scraping because the Low Profile trailer has a 7 degree angle.
I do have a Featerlite 3182 with 18' bed. This trailer's front tongue is only 42", which makes it almost as short as Futura's 16'5" model, allowing me to store the trailer in my garage (needs to be covered due to HOA rules). The total weight is 5000 lbs with the car loaded. I place the car all the way to the front of the trailer with front first, which creates ~350 lb of tongue weight. This is still not as much as what the guidelines would recommend (which would be ~500 lbs), but seems to be enough to keep the trailer very stable. Funny enough, the trailer coupler has instructions on it to have at least 7% of weight, which is what I have, so perhaps it's not way too low after all. I don't think it would be possible with a 16' trailer, so I think you need at least 18', and if possible, 20' trailer to be able to place it front enough to hit good tongue weight (if car is loaded front first).
