corrected a typo as well, frontal area in the graph was 2.2 and not 2.25. One takeaway here is that we're really sensitive to area and drag coeff when counting MPH's, small changes make large differences. If you move the 5-6 shift to the low-mid 190's to account for any error in tire diameter I may have, the top speed difference isn't dramatically different, there may be a MPH or so here.

So to do 209mph and be at 7200rpm in 6th it’s making around 575rwhp based on 8% drivetrain loss is that correct?

That's pretty close, in my guesswork the rpm was closer to 7400, but the implication is that a re-gearing would add a little to the top speed. I'd be more interested in a gearing change to help out the sub-170 acceleration though.

345/25R21 is the tire height you’re using right? I think rwhp is a bit optimistic and closer to around 540rwhp SAE at that rpm, so not sure it’ll be quite that fast though the wind speed/direction and ambient temp will make a difference in actual results of course.

The 2023 C8 Z06 Indy Pace Car was giving Pace Car Rides on the track doing 163 mph.

I don't understand your point.

Are you stating that SAE article and writer is mis quoting Tadge and therefore not true OR?
I did not post a quoting with an alleged Z06 speed of 186 MPH?

I do agree with your opinion the internet is crazy BTW but I am genuinely confused about what you are trying to say with the Tadge quoting.

I work with what I have and I don't have and I am more empirical than theoretical.
I don't have a video with the Z06 at WOT like the C8 base or C7 ZR1 at Papenburg.
I have good theoretical calculations.
Are you saying the theoretical calculations overrule Tadge's quoted statement or the quoted statements have to be false because the theoretical calculations don't back it up?

P.S. I clearly posted the link to the SAE article. By all means the SAE article can be wrong and misquoted. If proven so Ill delete it but please let's not shoot the messenger....

EDIT: Ah! I think I got it...read the comments afterwards Don Sherman statement
its official GM-listed top speed
is incorrect because it is not listed anywhere on the GM web site...

GOT IT! SORRY and I am still empirical...
