Do these collars allow for height adjustment like the non-front lift cars, or is the drop fixed? And does cutting the bump stops harshen the ride at all?
The drop is fixed. Bump stops shouldn't harshen the ride. The Z is meant to be lowered which is why it comes with coilovers.
It’s hard to say that it’s meant to be lowered with the front lift optioned given that aftermarket parts are required to do so and Chevy will probably not give warranty coverage on the front lift system if it fails while using aftermarket collars. That being said I lowered my Stingray and will probably lower my Z06. It’s idiotic that they designed it this way but I’m sure it was a cost savings measure.
did the dealer tell you how many hours the job would take?
$1600 with sleeve and lowering all corners and doing the track alignment. Not sure how many hours

Same. My car is getting built Tuesday and getting delivered to Abel. Hoping to pick it up in a couple weeks if not sooner. My base C8 took 8 days from built to delivery to Abel.

If you have the lift you need the collars. No lift it’s easy you just turn the coils down. Some dealers may do it and some may not. You’d have to call yours. Pricing as well will be significantly different per location. CA is going to have a way higher labor rate than TX for example.
No Lift. I called the dealer they won’t do. It doesn’t seem that difficult to do yourself as long as you have a spanner wrench. I may give it a shot can’t imagine it takes more than an hour or so.
Local Austin TX dealers will not lower the Z06 but a local speed shop who I use to install my mods spent about 2.5 hours to install the front collars and lower down all four coilover corners. The cost was about $400.
