You need to take out the bolt for the brake line bracket to gain slack, then put the banjo bolt into the front lift pump assembly.

so I remove the whole bracket? Then just let it chill with no bolts? Sorry I’m confused. I ended up getting it on with the bracket in place but I don’t like that it has no slack.

As I understood it you couldn't get the bolt and line into the front lift assembly. So if you remove the bolt for the brake line bracket it will remove the tension and allow you to get the bolt and line onto the lift actuator. You would then put the bolt back into the brake line bracket. The issue is with the new collar the assembly sits lower and the line wasn't designed for that. I took the bolt out and let the bracket relax then I measured the distance and made a spacer. Once the car is on the ground the tension is released however if you take the wheels off that line will be stressed on the actuator. I don't like that idea so I made a spacer, not sure if you have the Paragon Jacking pucks but if you do they give you 4 spacers for temporary installation of the pucks. If you have them permanently installed you don't use them. 2 combined fit perfect for going behind the brake line bracket.

Awesome explanation thanks. Did the oem bolt still work with the spacer? Also did it take anytime to settle? I haven’t driven the car yet and only did one corner but not seeing a 1” drop yet.

No you need to use a longer bolt, I believe it was a M6 x 30mm long. I just put the collars in but can't put the car on the ground as I was waiting on my spacers. I will do a write up on the spacers tomorrow and if the weather cooperates I'll have pictures of my set up by Sunday.

@John510 did they take anytime to settle? I just installed one corner on mine and only got a little over 1/2” drop.

No. That pic was immediately after. You should have got a lot more than 1/2”. I know some cars have weld boogers on the shocks so the sleeves sit higher. The weld boogers have to be cleaned up.

Interesting. I’ll see what happens after I drop the other 3 sides. Im wondering if it’s going to be like the C7 where the Z07’s don’t drop as much. I didn’t see any welds holding anything up that I noticed.

Wow that looks great! Amazing how much better the wheels look with the appropriate spacing and drop!

To tell you the truth I was thinking about powder coating the wheels black before I did any of the mods, but somehow now with it lowered and spacers it has transformed the look and I'm content with the wheels the way they are. They add just enough contrast to the Black.

On a separate, but related note… guy on FB says he’s been working with Cicio regarding the possible development of spacers for the carbon fiber wheels. He should hopefully know shortly if they are a possibility. I know Paragon said they will not be developing spacers for that wheel.
