How Much Better Will the Z06 Be Than a 458 ?
This is a pretty objective review of a 19k mile 458 and watching this it makes me think that the C8 Z06 will be an infinitely better car... If you take the 458 formula and modernize and mass produce it, the Z06 may be the the most desirable car you can buy at any price. I know this is like comparing athletes of different eras but I think it's a good discussion...

Banned Scam/Spammer
Terrible, unacceptable interior, significant electrical problems, tail happy, very hard to drive fast,... not exactly a fine, positive endorsement but it does wear a prancing horse and its owner is entitled to wear a pair of those retarded red pants and complimentary hat at the local cars and coffee.
The upcoming Z06 should be a show stopping monster and likely at least one power of ten more reliable than the outdated snob mobile, money pit on wheels in the video.
Z06, no brainer.

Probably significantly better in many respects but it will never look as good and may not sound as good.

I hope the new C8 Z06 has 90% of the performance of a McLaren 765LT and Ferrari F8 Tributo. Those cars are 9.5 1/4 mile and 0-60 in 2.2 and 2.3
Low 10s 1/4 and 0-60 in about 2.4 is where the Z06 needs to be and it needs to also handle better than the C7 ZR1. Start it at $89,995

The 458 is the only mid-engine car I've driven; curious to see how the C8 Z51 stacks up once I finally take delivery.

They can't even build the base car consistently, I am not holding my breath for a Z06 anytime soon. For all we know it could be 2+ more years away. I think we will have to reassess what other cars are on the market. If inflation continues, I suspect the Z06 will be closer to $100K starting price. Probably high $90K's with no options just so GM can say it's under $100K.
All that said, I am sure it will be a really solid value like the Stingray and there will be long waiting lists and big markups.

I've driven both. I have have yet to take my C8 out on the track (still breaking her in), but I expect it to be a much better car than the 458. I honestly wasn't too impressed with the 458 on the track.

After watching this video I am seriously considering getting on the list for a Z06 even though I'm very happy with my Stingray. I think the Z06 could sound and look even better than a 458

Just put a deposit down at Stingray Chevrolet...

If NA, it should be better, thats why the 458 is out there. So gm can learn and be better at it, with a 10 year learning curve at the expense of Ferrari.
I think gm might surprise us with a 660hp na engine.

Such questions/posts never cease to amaze me...
(what I find myself wondering is what sort of actual answer the OP really expects... maybe a percentage, or a descriptive word, or simply "BS," perhaps???)

I’ll bite
By the time it rolls out for sale the 458 will be 13 years on the road so the Z should be loads better. I may end up with one but for me so far no regrets on my 458 purchase 2 years ago. The car is just a blast to drive, is still comparatively beautiful to anything out there and each time I drive, it’s a special experience. The car is full of quirks, and hiccups; in the video they mention how stupid simple the controls are; not true, I challenge either to set a radio station favorite 😆. Beautiful car I wouldn’t trade for 2 c8s which is an amazing car
