In retrospect, I am very unclear with what this thread is about, or at least how it is supposed to work from the OP's point of view.
You are offering your place, which could result in an allocation/order next week, for a Z06.
You are not selling your spot, so you order the car someone else designs or do you select who orders the car and they design, place the order and the rest.
The dealer is charging $100,000.00 additional market adjuctment for this allocation.
What do you get out of it, or is this just your way of putting someone in touch with the dealer?
FWIW, the dealer is dreaming. This allocation will be months away from building, figure Aug or Sept. The $100K over number may not hold for that period. The market is saturated with z06 cars at that price point and it does not appear that this is a reasonable ask. For a car on the floor NOW, $60,000.00 may be all they are worth.
If its a Z07 allocation all bets are off.....

Dreaming ? I don't think so.
No big deal. I really don't think he is too worried about selling the car.

That's how I took the OP's intent. Just a friendly headsup or tip to someone who might be interested.

As for the $100k ADM, nothing is preventing anyone from calling an offering less. Maybe a lesser amount combined with a non-refundable deposit ends up carrying the day.
