Diiference between 2023 and 2024 Z06?
Can any of you folks educate me on the differences between the 2 years?
I had a rumor regarding the UDV - Reconfigurable Color Cluster & Drvr Info Display, 12" being updated.
Regards.

Besides new colors and cosmetics, there are a number of new safety items including auto high beam headlights, following distance, forward collision alert, lane assistance, and automatic emergency braking. The big difference is the Google designed infotainment system eliminating the GM guidance system. The 2024 has a totally new infotainment display system.

All 2024 Corvettes also have the new soft-close front trunk feature.
Here's a 9-second clip of how it works that I made from someone else's video: https://www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxIug...A2fTIBnt8yHqqi

Also price increase for the 24 and no more 5K GM rewards.

Forward emergency braking sucks. If you disable the braking part and only leave the alert you get a constant amber alert on the instrument cluster. Lame.

Or it sucks until it works and saves the front of the car. Then its pretty damn cool.

Reading is hard these days. You missed the part where I said when you disable it... It's not saving anything. I've never been in a situation where I said oh man I'm so glad I had that forward collision emergency braking save me. I have been in many situations where I said WTF are you doing car when the car in front of me is turning into a driveway and it flashes the alert when there's a ton of separation and no chance of a collision. So back to my point, it's dumb that it leaves an a constant amber alert that it's been disabled.

I abhor Auto Emergency Braking. It was so sensitive to activate in my Land Rover Defender that I got rid of the car because of it. Not joking. And you could disable it but it might last an ignition cycle or two and then it was back.

This one at least stays off but it shames you via amber symbol on the cluster. It makes it look like there's something wrong with the car. 😡

I am always worried someone is going to rear end me when it kicks in for no real reason.

No its the same size but there are two vertical menus on the left kind of a waste of space. The font is now smaller and the street names are so small, they are almost impossible to read.
This was taken close to the screen. At the normal driver distance, almost impossible to read.
Obviously, the new Google designed system wasn't tested by the senior managers.

One thing that really sucks about AEB is if you're trying to pass a slow vehicle on a 2-lane road with traffic. The proper technique in a quick car like a Corvette is to leave a large gap, anticipate your opportunity and then accelerate rapidly behind the vehicle and close the gap and prepare to overtake. If you have a car with intrusive AEB, it will cut in and damn near make you crap your pants if you left it on. I've had it happen.
