looks nice and smooth! my former car was wet sanded with 1500 grit. man what a mess compounding it made. i was cleaning that crap out of the moldings etc for weeks! was worth it though, the finished product was a shine miles deep!
I figure I will wrap it up sometime this week if the baby doesnt run me ragged. will try to get lots of pics before the LSP goes on, but am so looking forward to the last few steps....having a few cold beers while I apply the sealant and wax....

Looks perfect Brian! Sorry these guys Hijacked your thread it's not everyday some one on this board spends weeks, of their personal after work time to get their paint to look like that, only to come on here and have someone else brag about a "better" way to do it while posting video's of their work.

It looks awesome and I am very envious!
Andy Wheeler
Mr. Wheeler, You sound like Al Gore claiming that he invented the internet.
First of all I was not bragging about anything. Second that is not my work. (yes get a clue, those guys are in the UK, I am in GA.) Third, it's called sharing. Its how I learned alot of my detailing techniques.
I have much respect for someone that takes the time to wetsand their own car. I have wetsanded sections of more then a few cars, it is very time consuming. Looking forward to seeing pics.

I really enjoyed the video's.....
The work time shown on the 85RD was very informative....
finally some sun here and not sick at the same time....it was a great day!
after around 60 or so hours, I think I have polished away all of the wetsanding marks and have the finish as level as I can get it without taking away too much more clear.
need to seal it and then wax it now and then I can sit back and have a beer myself.
