I used pinnacle sov. wax on my vette and switched back to zaino. I just didnt get that optical clarity that i got when i used zaino and it seems to last alot longer. Some say that using pinnacle WAX will give you a wetter look, I found that not to be the case. Also zaino is a little more forgiving when you accidently get some on your weatherstripping. I have used some adams products in the past and found them to be great (still use their undercarriage spray THE BEST) but for me I'll stick with zaino. thousands of vette owners cant be wrong

Having used them both, Zanio is better hands down.
Easier to apply, easier to take off.
I purchased Adams full line and was very disappointed with it.
It is difficult to apply evenly, takes days to get everything off. Leaves uneven streaks.
I just recieved my Zanio order and can't wait to redo the car.
Just my two cents worth.

I have always used Malm's polish and wax.after reading the forum, I decided to try Rejex.now it is my favorite.

Nothing like not answering your original question. I've tried neither so I could not actually answer it.

I think I have used every wax or sealer known to man....and I have never been able to tell much difference in many of them. Still searching.

Since the original question was Zaino vs Adams, and I've used both, I'd say that, while both products are nice, Zaino Z2 has it over Adams Buttery wax hands down. The Adams was virtually gone after a few washes. The Z2 is still beading like a champ after 8+ washes.

After watching Adam enthusiastically polishing his little heart out all day at the Corvette Events (such as Corvettes at Carlisle), how can you not buy his product. The man lives for car care products!!!

I believe the Z5 has abrasive qualities for eliminating swirl marks and light surface scratches...

ive used both and still use both because both are good in there own ways, basically if you on one dont bother switching to the other not worth it. with zaino you need to hand apply mix in a sealer and do multi coats and do each coat in a specific direction, the only issue is the work but it lasts very long so maybe 2-3 times a year you have to do this to keep the shine going.

Adams can be put on by hand or by machine, his first gen waxes, swirl, revive and butter were nice but the amount of work compared to zaino + if it gets on trim in leaves marks that have to be cleaned, it also is visible in between body panels but zaino not. i complained to Adam Pitale the owner and he sent me full size bottles of his new stuff to try, one quick coat of machine polish and 1 coat of super wax gives me a great shine, the new stuff is very easy to use and works great. one problem is the removal and the streaking of th super wax, i dont know why it does wheather i let it sit for an hour or a day it still streaks so i find spraying zaino's glaze makes removal much better + gives a shine boost + repels dust while you drive out for pic/ show/ enjoyment. the adams wax usually needs reapply after 1 month or 1k miles spray detailing ever 250 miles or so

both lines have superior products, i use adams wax because i dont want to switch back but i use zaino wax on my wheels to repel brake dust as well as the daily driver, zainos spray glaze works better than adams glaze (streaks - gave it to a friend i dont like) while adams detail spray evaporates before you even wipe it - awesome! adams makes a glass cleaner that gets me going to church i hate glass but this stuff makes it feasible to get a streak free windshield. zainos leather conditioner is more liquidy and has a stronger smell so it goes on the seats, adams version still smells like leather but not as strong so i use it on the dash and other similar plastic. i uses adams leather cleaner on exterior trim and the engine bay. adams makes a product called "undercarige spray" it works like tire shine and makes trim peices glossy, at shows people think i repainted all my exterior trim, it cant be used in areas of high heat so no good for engine bay.

im not afraid to try other products, i uses mother nano metal polish for my lugnuts and exhaust cheap and effective, orange glow degreaser for the undercarriage and suspension components. eagle one wheel cleaner, better than the mcguires version i previously used and cheaper. i uses mcquires nxt gen extreme tire shine on my tires because they dont sling off even at 150+ that was alot of trial and error to find among other brands. i use black magic leather cleaner on interior hard trim (faces, radio ect) because it smells like cinnamon which i like, black magic makes a trim cleaner that is very oily so i use sparingly on the interior. finally i use a product called auto expressions "new car scent" smells just like the leather of a new car i have 7k miles over 1.5 years always with windows/ top off and my car still smells new.

im not a nut case i detail as i need, my generic clean up is about 2 hours, i do paint exterior trim, interior wheels tires glass, for an even i add waxing + more attention to detail so ~ 4 hours and twice a year i go all out vaccum remove wheels to clean suspension components and undercarrige add 2 so 6 hours for a grand detail

i like driving a clean car so this is the price i must pay while still enjoying my vette,

if your going to bloomington gold find me by the adams tent on sat i have many tricks to share

I found these products work well but don't survive more than a wash or two. Thats why I use Zaino.
