Old waxes and sealants could possibly leave remnants on the paint that are best removed. You really don't need 10 layers of anything.

So you can polish which is abrasive and remove marring or paint cleanse which is a chemical based cleaning to remove any old wax and prep for the new one. It's often a lotion that you wipe on and lightly wipe off.
Do you have a link to this lotion you wipe on and lightly wipe off to remove any of the old Zaino coatings? Sounds like the old Dawn dishwashing detergent treatment Zaino initially required to use to strip off everything on paint when car was new before applying the Zaino products?

I forgot what is the baggie test?

Under Pinnacle you can find the paint work lotion. We also offer a different version under Wolfgang that preps for the coating.

Dawn has never been proven to be able to remove any paint sealant. It removes beading which is often what individuals use to measure if they have wax on the surface.

The Baggie test is simple actually .... You take a Baggie and cover your hand. You simply try to glide over the surface with no pressure. If the Baggie grabs it's time to consider coating.

I finished applying Rejex the other day and I sprayed a quick detailer on it after I was done. Did I make a mistake? I understand that it needs time to cure.

I believe the bottle says to wait 12 hours before reapplying.

Most sealants suggest 8-12 hours because every environment is different. High heat can cure faster, higher humidity can slow the process. I have tested many sealants , and coating many with other sealants and waxes without issue. I generally leave at least 4-5 hours as possible.
