Default Zaino or Ceramic?

Prolly an old question, but after a little bodywork on the C7's front-end and a goofed-up lower bumper (under grille) Xpel clear bra, the clear bra guy is going to replace the clear piece and offered me a ceramic sealant job. I've used Zaino for, what, 15 years and always happy with it. But as we all know, ceramic is the latest and greatest and wanted to get people's 2 cents on moving onto ceramic. Anything I should do to remove the Zaino (although about 9 months old now) first? Any thoughts are surely appreciated!

I'm not sure I understand your post. I know you are considering Zaino or Ceramic. (I'd go with ceramic over Zaino in any scenario personally.)

But you are saying that the Xpel installer is asking you if you want ceramic on there, which would indicate that he would handle the ceramic install AND the prep work needed, which would include removing any coatings (like Zaino)and things on the virgin clear coat. Then you are asking what you would do to remove Zaino?

My confusion is that you wouldn't need to do anything in regards to removing Zaino.....what am I not understanding about your situation?

I'd like to help, but I don't understand your situation clearly.
