Gotta ask: How much $$$ damage is this and which parts were included in the repair estimates? Hope the parts aren't too hard to come by and that you've got access to a great auto repair shop.
I guess there is the answer if Ceramic coating protects against scratches. If it was a Torch Red C7 they would have seen it lol... just lightning tragedy.. it can be repaired not the end of the world
The total for the front cap, complete headlight assembly, also includes ceramic coat replacement: $4350.00 and some cents. Had to **** and moan about the ceramic coating…adjuster says “hey man, I don’t know if it had it on there before or not”. I was THIS CLOSE to smackin him in his dentures!!!!!!!!
$1500.00 for a headlight assembly. What bullshit. Anyway, comes home Tuesday. It had better be f****n perfect. Sad face here. 😩. Thanks guys for your sympathy messages. I need it.
It makes me lay awake to know she’s not in my garage with my new security system camera facing her. Yeah I know….

I was gonna suggest the claim for the ceramic coating. I was pleasantly surprised my detailer told me my PPF and ceramic coating were insured should there be an accident. He's provided "repair" quotes and services for his customers on several occasions. I also have a receipt for my detail work with the VIN number that I could present to an adjuster. Glad you've got an inside line on the parts.
