You will have to be a member to enter the event. If you will tell me what you need to know about the amendment I will try to clarify it for you.

Recently the NHRA released a rules amendment for the subject event....I plan to run an index class at Gainesville...the problem is in the rules amendment I am told to go to Section 4 of the NHRA rule book for the rules of my class...many of us wanting to participate in this event are not NHRA members so we have no access to a rule book...
I would like to make sure I fit into an index class...can someone please publish the index rules for all to see?...thank you for your help in this matter...
I sent this inquiry to Jim Collins who heads up tech for Div. 2...looks like we must be an NHRA member to participate according to his highlited response...that just doubled the price...if I make the divisional final team I will join anyway but if not, well, we'll see...

since Glendora is hoping to stuff their pants with money from people who've never been members, do ya think they'll have a cash-register at the front gate, and allow these participants to suddenly 'join' at these events?

They have changed that apparently...you can now join at the Divisional finals on the spot and get a number...a friend of mine did that 2 years ago...
I bet they will have a booth set up at each event to join...since Gainesville is the last one maybe they will get wise and waive this requirement by the time they get here...one can only hope...
