asking for a friend who is tryin out his c5 for the first time........he asked active handling on/off, and competition mode or not???? I told him i thought active handling off.........but I'm a c4 guy........what do I know anyway??
Ken, i run in the competition mode. (safety net) Being basically stock (gears & headers) i leave the line at 1200 rpms and mash the pedal. :steering: Bob
I don't think A/H could have helped in this case. I saw it happen at Calispeeway, but I could not tell you if A/H was on or off. The wall is very close .
Definitely Both off. Both settings will cut the throttle at the worst time! If he's stock just tell him to floor it on the 3rd yellow. Also very important run in the "3" gear, keeps your rpms higher (throws in an extra clutch pack on A4's).
both trac and A/H off. Launch in 3rd. do a lil tire spin in 1st. also drop your rears to around 23 and if you want up the fronts to around 40 (for stock runflats)

What up front tire pressures are you using for non runflats (with DR's and eagle F-1s in front)
