Installing a Line Lock. Hard?

I have been thinking about getting a line lock from summit lately. is this hard to do yourself? and should i also purchase the accessory kits? do these things come with directions? thanks

You have no ABS, correct? Should be relatively easy, just make sure that you have the brake line tools. :)

yes i have brake line tools. but what is involved in the install. what else do i need besides the actual line lock mecanism?

I did not buy the kit for it. I went to the Auto parts store and got some brake lines and some fittings. It was a little cheaper. Install was very easy. I mounted my swith in the ash tray to conceal it when not in use.

ABS or not, it does not matter. I installed one once, and all you need to buy is the selenoid. Then take the peices to the nearest auto parts store and get just what you need. You will also want to buy a 30 amp relay to control it.
