Will a older dfi work with the new CalMap software? I want to buy one, but it's got version 6.0 and I'm wondering if I can get and use 8.0?

Thanks

I would say no, The new DFi is a whole new design(ecm) . I belive the latest software you can use is calmap 6.32 with the first gen DFi's.

If you're correct, then DamDamDam Calmap 2000 looks much better. Do you know for sure or ???

I was told last year that the new Calmap 2000 could be used with the older DFI ECM, but that some of the options would function. I don't know for sure, but that's what I was told by an owner of an Accel EMIC, Geoff Skorupa at Performance Technical Center. I ran the DFI 6.32 in my car with a Superram 383, before switching to the SpeedPro Sefi system on my SBC 427.
