Ok I have been using Performance Trends engine Analyzer v3.0 for almost 2 years now and love it. However with all this talk about Desktop Dyno I am wondering if I am missing out on somthing?
Anyone ever used both of these programs? If so any thoughts or comparisons are welcome.
i have and you are not missing anything. to me the EA is more flexible. the DD 2000 is a big improvment over the earlier version, but i still don't think it is as good as the EA. DD lets you enter a complete head flow table (which is nice), but doesn't give you much flexibilty in describing the intake runners % exhaust (length, dia, etc). EA is more geared to flow figures and gives you more flxibilty to define the intake and exhaust systems.
That was the fastest I've ever gotten anything done! I've already paid for, downloaded the program and I'm up and running building HP like crazy! :smash:
