Default 421 SBC Fresh Street Engine ...LOWER PRICE

I've got a fresh 421 sbc. It's apart for inspection and put together. GM 400 block, Lunati 3.85 Crank, Callies 6.0 Rods.
Crower 875 lifters. AFR 227 heads, T & D 1.55 rockers. Bill Mitchell Motown intake, gasket matched. 10 1/2 CR The only thing you'll need is a cam, carb rings of choice and your accessories. I put the cam in the new engine I built. The carb is also for sale, Pro-Systems carb 1000cfm 4150. Have the build sheet. Engine made 558 horse and 537 torque at the wheels, on pump gas.
$5,500/OBO for engine, can be assembled for another $500.00 Located by Cleveland, Ohio. Shipping or freight is extra.

New Price $4500

Isn't "Pro Systems" the carb company that claims to have a 4500 metering system on a 4150 carb

I heard that it was suppose to be a a good carb and thought of buying one for myself.

Why are you not keeping it ?

The carb was great, I had Pro-Systems do another carb for the new engine. BTW the carb is sold.

That is good to hear as I am considering one of their carbs for my new motor (540).

I still have a 950 QFT from my 496 that I never did like and instead spent some time working on an old 850dp that outperformed the QFT.

Good luck with your new build...... (is it posted somewhere here?)

Build is not on here. I built a 454 small block. Everything new except the cam. Dart Iron Eagle tall deck block, 18 degree Dart heads and intake, 712 lift and 280@50 on 106 CL with 4/7 swap 11-1 CR 2 inch headers. MSD E-Curve Dist. 1.65 T & D shaft mount rockers, Crower lifters. Should be in the 750-800 horse area, goes to dyno a week from wed.

I've bought 2 carbs from Patrick and found both were running rich as installed. Had to have both set up on chassis dyno to get correct A/F
