77 L48 needs more H.P.
what wood be a good way to get another 100 H.P. out of my 180H.P. L48 without a major teardown.Its still strong, no noise, no smoke, etc. Cam, carb, headers maybe? I just dont know what combination to go with. thanks for any info

Do you have emmission laws to contend with? Might make a difference in how easy or how much would be involved in order to keep it legal. If you dont care about emmissions..its a peice of cake. I never took my block out of car. Its 73k original block. In addition to my listed mods I also threw in a high volume oil pump.

Don't forget the ignition system, from the plugs to the dist.and everything between. Does make a difference.
