There are three (3) things that you can do to put more power to the street with the late model ZR1:

1. Switch to aftermarket ultra high performance tires that aren't run-flats

2. Upgrade the stock braking system w/aftermarket brakes that don't fade

3. Learn to handle the HP by taking a few lessons with the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving.

Good luck with the changes!

Both Lingenfelter and Hennessey(not an endorsement) offer add-ons, I'm sure others do too... have you checked with the forum supporting vendors? Callaway also comes to mind as a possible source.

That car is actually for sale as well. With or without the mods that it had at the Hill Climb.

Those in the DFW area, I will have it on display at the Cars and Coffee show this Saturday morning.

Let me know your thoughts on what you would like to do with your ZR1. It isn't hard to get a solid 100 hp from these cars.

U want more power for that ZR-1 get headers. Long tubes and a tune with cols air intake. Probably gain another 50 rwhp. For a car like that I would take it to LG or someone that has alot of reputation.
