I know this is off topic, but check out this guys Ulitma car buildup. I'm thinking the '69 Camaro project may have to be put in hold for awhile. This car is way too sexy - maybe my next project.... A 3.5" stroke, 4.125" bore tall-deck aluminum Dart/Rocket block with 6.325" rods (1.82 rod/stroke ratio) twin turbo....droool....

Re: Ultima component car (Monty)
Sweet cars. With that motor you are proposing you really could put Can Am stickers on the side like in the pics and get away with it. Imagine the power to weight ratio...
do they sell it in kit form? the last kit i had never got finished. kit cars are way harder than they look to finish. :yesnod: i think if i buy another kit i want a cobra! :yesnod: :D way easier than the lamborghini i built. try making the doors on a countach line up! its ridiculous! :cuss i think a cobra would be easy. the ultima doesnt look that hard but.....
Yes, you can get it in several stages, all the way from full kit car to a complete roller. I was a postage stamp away from ordering a JBL "cobra" last year, but I like the looks of the Ultima Spyder or Sports better, although I've always liked the look of the Ford GT40, and someone sent me the link to this company making a stainless steel monocoque chassis based GT40. It's a little more money than the Ultima's but it seems to be very high quality.
