You just need a camshaft position signal, and the distributor is one place
to get that. MSD has two distributors that have this built in, part no.
2345 w/mechanical advance and 85502 w/locked out advance.

Has anybody on the forum made this change? I'm curious whether or not it's a difference you can feel "seat of the pants".
