This winter i`m going to put in a new roller cam and at the same time change my old harm balancer to a new one.Should i go with a Fluiddamper or a Rattler?I`ve heard storys of the Fluid damper seizing up and destroying the engine. The rattler is kinda new to me,and i know nothing about it.How does it work?
Second question. If i have any money left in my wallet after my engine mods,i going to replace my old castiron flywheel to a Alu.I assume it will help my engine rev up a little quicker and lower the rotating weight..Any ideas on this ?

Re: Alu flywheel,Harmonic balancer.. (BB wowbagger)
I'd recommend an ATI Superdamper over either the Fluidamper or Rattler. The ATI is what all the pro's use in almost every racing series that I know of. As for aluminum flywheels or flexplates, check out http://www.reactorproducts.com, they're not much more than an aluminum flywheel or flexplate that you'd find in a JEg's/Summit catalog, but they are as light as 4.5# and have been proven to handle 2000+hp. If my wife would let me, I'd make a coffee table out of one!
