Id like to move the air intake port on my LS7 from the front of the engine to the top. As this engine will be in the '67 I'm restomoding, moving it would allow me to use the triangular "tripower" air cleaner in its usual spot, rather than the cold air intake commonly used on the LS7. Anybody seen anything that might make this possible? They make LS7 intakes, designed to convert to carbed rather than the usual fuel injection, that LOOK like what I need, but I suspect that this idea is a little more complex than just switching out the intakes and popping the old style air cleaner on top. It would sure be cool to have a stock tripower look while still having the modern engine. Thanks.
