Default Carbon Monoxide LOL
Just bought an 08 Z06 w/intake, long tube headers, cat delete and B&B exhaust. Car smells like gas inside & out. W/O putting the cats back or strong air freshener, is there anyway to reduce that strong smell. I'm ok with it, but some of my passengers find it extreme, not to mention the LOUD noises coming out of the tail pipes.

Take it to a tuner and have it check, it's probably running too rich. A small change on the fuel program might be just what it needs, good luck.

You may have something going on with the EVAP system that is causing that smell, its common.
