Default Flexplate question
I've got a 79 L82 with a TH-350 tranny. Does anyone know if the flexplate is a 153-tooth or a 168-tooth? I'll also poise this question under C3 general discussion. Thanks everyone. :banghead:

Stock is a 153. I have always changed to 168 tooth just for ease of starting.

Stock is a 153. I have always changed to 168 tooth just for ease of starting.
It fits??? I always knew the Corvettes used the 153 flywheel/flexplate. I know the starter is different, and torque converter bolt ups CAN be different, But I assumed there was a space or clearence problem with the larger 'wheel. This is great news. Thanks!
