Default Help with intake decision please...

Here is my dilemna, I cannot decide what to do for my top end so I would like to ask the experts before I spend alot of money and screw this up! I am running a fresh ZZ4 crate motor with the following: New DPort 113 Heads, LT4 HotCam, 1.6 Roller Rockers, free exhaust, and Hooker 2149 SuperComp headers. My car is an automatic with a 3.55 Dana 44 behind it. It is a Nice Weather driver, and I plan on a few runs here and there just for the heck of it. Mostly I wanna have a Corvette that is what a Corvette should be!
Here is the link to the poll and post I have going in the C4 Tech area. It was recommended to ask here also, as this is where I can get some help sorting this out by some really sharp engine guru's.

I am trying to decide what is really the best way to go with my intake, I am to the point of a critical decision and just not sure which way to go. I do know that I rev up to the 4500 wall real quick with my stock intake. I need more air. I also cant afford to keep swapping until I get it right! I want to get this right the first time! The reality is "most" of the time I will be under 5K rpms, so is the superram really my best choice, for a mostly driver and once in awhile racer?

Thanks in Advance,
Doug

Here's a bump for you Doug.

I'm not familiar with an LT4 HotCam, so I couldn't tell you where it's effective RPM range is (which would help dictate the intake). If you had specs or events, I'm sure some of these guys in engine mods could advise you :D

You're just looking to decide between a mini or Super Ram, right? Remember, if emissions are a concern, the mini ram has no EO #, so you'll have to deal with that aspect every couple years!

Can't really offer an intake choice, but here is some first hand info about the LT4 Hot cam (torque peak around 3500 RPM and Power Peak about 6100 RPM), in my experience (350 ci LT1).

Cam specs- Hydraulic Roller 218/228 on 112 lsa, 0.525/0.525" lift with 1.6 Roller Rockers.

See ya,
John
