How many liters

there are 25.4mm to 1 inch.
so there are 16387.064mm2 to the square inch (25.4*25.4*25.4)
so on a 383 that makes 6276245.512mm2 (16387.064*383)
now devide that by 1,000,000 to get to ltrs and you get 6.27ltr there or there abouts.
im only telling you this coz i have to use it all the time, ie when you havent got a converter handy. and being a Brit, its easier to compaer to stuff we get to over here.
thanks Chris.
Good proof!
Nice job!!
psst: i think it shoud be mm3 and cubed instead of mm2 and squared, but that's just splitting hairs

but just one thing ....it is actually cubic inches not square inchessquare inches to mm square would be 25.4 * 25.4= 645.16mmsq./1"sq.
cubic inches to cubic centimeters or mililiters (1cm3=1ml) is 2.54 * 2.54 *2.54 = 16.387064 cubiccentimeters or ml per cubic inch and then divide by 1000 to get Liters
